About

In Fall 2014, I completed a PhD in Educational Technology with a concentration in Arts, Media + Engineering at Arizona State University, through which I worked with ASU’s Advancing Next Generation Learning Environments (ANGLE) and Reflective Living research groups and on multiple NSF-funded projects involving instructional design for undergraduate engineering and worked examples in online homework help forums. My research interests include social media, narrative storytelling, human-computer interaction, online peer review, cyberlearning, embodied mixed-media learning, and instructional design. My work is steeped in a multi-disciplinary background including education, design, filmmaking, music, programming, sociology, literature and journalism. I joined Pearson in June 2014 and work as a Learning Capabilities Design Manager for global higher education products.
